FTC Disclosure Compliance Rules
New rules of Disclosure Compliance have been released by the Federal Trade Commission in 2015.
According to that if the blogger or publisher is sponsored, endorsed or partnered with a different company, readers and viewers should be aware of that.
Please assume following about posts and links on this site in compliance with the FTC guidelines:
All/any of the links present on this site are affiliate links from which I receive a small compensation from sales of certain items.
Affiliate Links? What are they
The readers buy the items directly from the sellers (not from this site), when the reader clicks on affiliate links available on this site
Small commission or other compensation paid to this site by Amazon or/and other companies for bringing customers to their websites.
If the reader buys through affiliate links or non-affiliate links, prices are exactly the same. Product price or anything doesn’t change if the user buys from affiliate links.
This site uses these two types of affiliate programs:
1. Amazon Affiliate Links:
Amazon Service LLC Associate Program is such an affiliate program that when a website link to Amazon or other affiliated sites, the owner of the website earn fees. We want to mention here that this site are the participant of that program.
2. Product Affiliate Links:
If you buy the product by clicking on our product affiliate links we get a certain percentage of commissions and other compensation.
Again, as mentioned above the prices of the products are the same if you buy from our affiliate links or directly by searching on Amazon.
What about sponsored content?
I want to provide authentic and unbiased information, so I don’t write sponsored posts. However, if a company reach out to us and want us to publish sponsored content we will mention that at the beginning of the post.
The bottom line is that we only recommend products that we use ourself. Your purchases from our website help us to support our research efforts.
